    Czech these out! This is a set of five adorable wooden finger puppets, handcrafted in the former Czechoslovakia, complete with the original box. The box art is striking, and each finger puppet has unique decorative elements.
    These were produced circa 1970, and were a popular export from the Eastern Bloc nation. A relic of the "command economy" era, these were produced in a number of different styles and could be purchased on both sides of the iron curtain. Puppets, and finger puppets especially, have long been a part of Eastern Europe's storytelling tradition, and the Czech republic continues to make high quality wooden puppets to this day.
