    Description

    Dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, this "Judy" puppet has a hand carved wooden head with an original painted surface.  Her clothing has probably been replaced, but it still appears to be vintage.  Her head measures about 3 1/2 in. tall by 2 1/2 in. wide and is in good condition with surface and edge wear, but no cracks or losses.  Her red checked body is frayed and faded.
