Back in the 90s, i started taking a painting workshop moderated by a talented painter who was also known for singing for a local opera company and for supporting his family as a gas station attendant and a hairdresser when he first came to America from Italy where his family was known for painting churches. His name was Rudolfo Veneziano. This painting is modeled after two paintings he sold from a display of his work at an Italian restaurant in Philadelphia. The view is an opening of clouds showing a sunny clear sky that reflects through a green wave and radiates a few clouds that reflect a peach pink hue. Rocks on the beach stop waves that spray and drizzle over them.
Painting is 24 inches by 18 inches and is on a canvas backing.
It is the second study i have done of Rudys beach painting. The first was done on masonite and was partially painted by Rudy. This painting i completed on my own.
