Description

Large Red Tropical Parrot
-- Measures approximately 24 inches long from the top of its head to the tip of its tail feathers.  The red body is approximately 8 inches by 6 inches.  Made out of bright red, blue, yellow and green cotton materials. It has a yellow face with a yellow/black beak and blue plastic eyes. Its black feet are around a 12-inch diameter metal hoop.
In the early 1990s I made stuffed fabric tropical parrots and cockatoos. They are now looking for a new home.  Each is made out of colorful cotton, stuffed with polyester filling, and are perching on a metal hoop.  These one-of-a-kind soft sculptures are designed to hang from their almost invisible nylon cording to add an accent to an interior setting. Although used this large red parrot is in excellent condition and comes from a smoke free home.
