    This is a beautiful and mural sized Antique Mid Century Black African American Modern Oil Painting on wood panel, depicting a wonderful rendition of Ernie Barnes’s “Sugar Shack” painting, which was famously featured in the hit 1970’s television show Good Times. This work is signed “V. Osborne” in the lower right corner. Perhaps you recognize the artist? Approximately 4 feet x 4 feet (48 x 48 inches.) This work was likely painted in the 1970’s or early 1980’s. Some light scuffing, scratches a d edge wear from age and storage (please see photos.) This is an amazing and life sized painting, and a very well done tribute to the acclaimed and legendary Ernie Barnes (1938 - 2009.)
